How Can I Help Form African Lutherans to Be Teachers of the Faith?

There are many dangers and troubles we face because of the devil and a sinful world. These are combated by Christ and you can help by praying for our protection, the proclamation of the Word, and open hearts to receive the Gospel.
You can help us succeed by volunteering to serve LIA with your vocational skills and talents. You can also advocate for LIA by telling others about the work of the mission at the Lutheran School of Theology and encourage them to get involved.
Prayerfully consider a financial gift to LIA to further the spread of the Gospel in Africa. Encourage your church to add Lutherans In Africa to their mission budget each year. Donate Bibles, Catechisms, and other theological resources.

In the next generation the money from the West will "dry up" as Christianity sadly continues to fade.

By contrast, Christianity and Lutheranism are on the rise in Africa. Missionaries are already being sent to America, Australia, and Europe from Africa and that will increase. Thanks to your support, the Lutheran School of Theology of Lutherans in Africa is a part of that growth.

Imagine, you are already equipping the future group of missionaries!

Based in Nairobi, Kenya, Lutherans In Africa is under the directorship of Rev. James E. May Jr., a graduate from Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, Indiana and a former missionary in French West Africa. Rev. May and the other mission workers are rostered LCMS clergymen or are from LCMS world partner churches and are committed to confessional Lutheranism.

LIA is registered as an independent mission organization. Being independent allows LIA to be free from the red tape and bureaucracy of a large institution. LIA is able to invest your gifts into Gospel ministry because we have such low administrative costs. LIA is all about cutting out waste and making sure that each dollar contributed is directed to forming African Lutherans to be teachers of the faith.

LIA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Contributions are tax deductible to the full extent of the law.
